Scattergories Lists
Tuesday, May 13th, 2008Scattergories is a game about a million different things – anything you can come up with, in fact – yet at the end of the day it’s boiled down to very simple things: lists. Scattergories lists lie at the very heart of the game.
Before play begins you’re given a blank game sheet to play on. You must fill this sheet out as the game progresses with answers starting with a certain letter than fits into the category given on a card full of categories. So if you rolled an S and the subject was Insects, you would fill out ‘Spider’ or ‘Scorpion’ and move on to the next item on the list (though you would be challenged on either, as spiders and scorpions are arachnids, not insects).
Each list contains 10 categories for you to answer, and you have only a limited amount of time to do it, so fill those lists quickly.
