Scattergories Fansite

Are you a fan of Scattergories? Well, there’s a new way for you to play the classic party game: on the computer.

Hasbro’s successful word game has been added to the list of board game ports with the relatively new Super Scattergories, released last year for play on the PC. If you’ve played Scattergories before then the action in Super Scattergories will require no more adaptation on your part than to figure out the game’s interface. You still have to come up with items that match the categories you’re given, albeit with a pre-determined letter attached to the front of that item.

Though Super Scattergories is fun, it can also be played by one person. And that seems to defeat the purpose of the game; computers just don’t respond the same. But if you’re a Scattergories fanatic then it just might be worth a try.
